PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a reception device control function of a linkage application from the broadcast side.SOLUTION: A linkage application control system, as a third embodiment of this disclosure, includes a broadcast device and a reception device. The broadcast device comprises a supply unit for supplying application control information on a linkage application capable of being executed by the reception device while receiving a content, to the reception device. The reception device comprises: an application execution unit for executing a linkage application capable of changing layout of a screen by referring to video of the received content; and an application control unit for restricting operation of the linkage application, by controlling the application execution unit on the basis of the application control information. The disclosure can be applied to a television broadcast system. |
