PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a wiring material having a protection material, capable of reducing a period of time while protecting an electric wire bundle using the protection material having a dividing part.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a wire harness including an electric wire bundle 20 consisting of a plurality of electric wires 21 and a cylindrical corrugated tube 30 for covering and protecting the electric wire bundle 20 comprises: a step of preparing an object having a dividing part formed to be extended from one end to the other end in an axial direction so as to divide a corrugated tube 30 in a circumferential direction, and capable of increasing the diameter of the corrugated tube 30 by the division; an electric wire bundle insertion step for inserting the electric wire bundle 20 into the corrugated tube 30; and a dividing part joining step performed simultaneously with the electric wire bundle insertion step or thereafter, and where the dividing part is joined by attaching a melted thermoplastic resin 44 thereon to cool and solidify the thermoplastic resin. |
