PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dilation catheter capable of guiding an expansion body precisely and easily into a narrow section irrespective of the difference of an introduction route for introducing an expansion body for expanding a narrow section in an organism and the individual difference of the anatomy of each patient.SOLUTION: A balloon catheter 100 comprises: a first long body 110 made flexible and capable of being introduced into an organism formed with an axially extending insertion lumen 111; and a second long body 120 including: a holding part 150 disposed in the first long body for holding the outer shape of the first long body in the organism, in such an outer shape that at least a portion of the first long body is bent in a direction for at least a portion of the first long body to intersect the axial direction; a balloon 130; and an imaging part 140, so that the second long body can move in the insertion lumen of the first long body having an outer shape held by the holding part. |
