The present invention relates to a use of TC1(C8orf4) gene for regulating hematopoietic precursor cells and hematopoiesis. The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition containing a material to express or activate TC1(C8orf4) protein as an effective agent for promotion hematopoiesis. Also, the present invention provides a method for screening anti-fungus agents, the method consisting the steps of: making a test material come in contact with a cell containing TC1(C8orf4) gene or TC1(C8orf4) protein; measuring the degree of expression or activation of TC1(C9orf4) protein in the cell which is came into contact with the test material; and screening a test material which has decreased expression or activation of TC1(C8orf4) gene or TC1(C8orf4) protein in comparison with a control material. Conceivably, TC1(C8orf4) protein according to the present invention can be utilized in the development of a medicine as an anti-hematopoiesis regulator for promotion of hematopoiesis. |
