PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EVOH resin composition that contains two EVOH resins having different ethylene content and saponification degree and, when vacuum pressure molding is applied, suppresses generation of a stripe while maintaining gas barrier properties, and to provide a method for manufacturing a bottom-closed container, such as a cup, having excellent gas barrier properties and appearance using the EVOH resin composition by vacuum pressure molding or the like.SOLUTION: A resin composition is used which contains two kinds of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymers having a difference (&Dgr;Et) between their ethylene structural unit contents of 10-25 mol%, and a zinc salt of a higher fatty acid. Molding is performed using a laminate containing layers of the resin composition as gas barrier layers. |
