PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniature vein enhancer which enables a practitioner to pinpoint a vein for an intravenous drip, blood test, and the like.SOLUTION: A miniature vein enhancer (MVE) 1 for enhancing a target area on a blood vessel of a patient has a miniature projection head (MPH) 2. The miniature projection head (MPH) 2 is used for both imaging a target area 4 and for projecting an enhanced image 11 along an optical path 5 onto the target area 4. A body 13 of the miniature vein enhancer (MVE) 1 has a vial opening 8. The vial opening 8 receives and temporarily holds in place a vial holder 7 having a needle 14. The body 13 also has a thumb opening 9 through which a medical practitioner 6 can place their thumb 10 while utilizing the miniature vein enhancer (MVE) 1. |
