<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for clearing ground water, which can clean contaminated ground water securely and quickly by economically forming a purifying wall in which microbiological degradation is used. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of wells 3 are installed in ground 5 so that the parallel direction may be roughly vertical to the direction of flow of ground water. Moreover, a sealing material 9 is provided to divide the wells 3 into two in the direction of depth, and a pump, which can vertically control the direction of water supply, is installed in the sealing material. Furthermore, an activator pump 15, which adds an activator for activating microorganisms, is installed in each well 3. Then, such a horizontal flow as to be roughly vertical to the flow of contaminated ground water, is generated between adjacent wells 3, by operating a pump 11 installed in the adjacent well 3 while controlling it so that the direction of water supply may be reverse. Besides, an activator is added to the well 3, using an activator injecting pump 15, so that the concentration of the activator in the ground may come to a specified control value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
