<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a diamond tool, capable of reducing impurities in a blade edge surface of the diamond tool formed by an FIB process. <P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the diamond tool that is method for manufacturing the diamond tool for processing a blade edge a rude ore of diamond brazed to a holder includes the following steps: (1) an FIB processing operation for forming the blade edge of the diamond tool by a focused ion beam method, (2) a film forming operation for depositing aluminum on a processing surface of the blade edge of the diamond tool to form an aluminum film, (3) a heating operation for heating the diamond tool after forming the aluminum film, and (4) a film removing operation for removing the aluminum film after the heating operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
