<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an optical flow detection device for coping with the reliability evaluation of a single flow, and for avoiding erroneous collision possibility determination. <P>SOLUTION: The optical flow detection device includes: image pickup means having wide angle lens; optical flow detection means for detecting the optical flow of an object on an image picked up by the image pickup means; and optical flow prediction means for predicting the optical flow of a first object on the image whose optical flow has been detected by the optical flow detection means when image pickup is performed the next by the image pickup means. The optical flow prediction means is configured to calculate a movement prediction position on an image plane by considering that the first object performs even speed movement in a forward direction and a lateral direction without generating any fluctuation in height before and after movement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
