<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To invent bismuth-based glass in the glass composition of which bismuth is hardly reduced even when the bismuth-based glass is fired in vacuum although the bismuth-based glass has characteristics such as low melting point. <P>SOLUTION: The bismuth-based glass contains 10-30 mol% Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>; 25-45 mol% B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>; 5-20 mol% ZnO, 1-15 mol% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 5-20 mol% SrO, 3-20 mol% BaO and 10-35 mol% (SrO+BaO) in the glass composition thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
