This pneumatic tire (1) is provided with lateral connection grooves (3, 3a, 3b) and circumferential grooves (4). A single lateral connection groove (3a) is disposed in a shoulder region of the tread at a position between a pair of lateral V-shaped grooves (2a, 2b) adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction of the tire, extends from a tread end toward a tire equatorial plane (CL), and is configured such that, in the center region of the tread, the lateral connection groove (3a) connects to one lateral V-shaped groove (2b) of the pair of lateral V-shaped grooves (2a, 2b), the one lateral V-shaped groove (2b) being located on the protrusion side of the V shape, and does not connect to the other lateral V-shaped groove (2a). The circumferential grooves (4) are disposed in the shoulder regions of the tread, extend in the circumferential direction of the tire, and connect to the lateral V-shaped grooves (2) and the lateral connection grooves (3). |
