One embodiment of the present invention provides a switching converter, comprising: a single winding transformer having a main winding including a primary winding and a secondary winding serially connected to the primary winding, and a tab connection part formed at a contact between the primary winding and the second winding, wherein one end of an input power source is connected to one end of the main winding; an active switch connected between the tab connection part and the other end of the input power source; a snubber circuit connected in parallel to the active switch; a link diode having one end connected to an output of the snubber circuit; a clamp diode located between the other end of the link diode and one end of a conversion output; a recovery capacitor connected between a contact between the link diode and the clamp diode, and the other end of the main winding; and an output diode connected between one end of the conversion output and the other end of the main winding.
