PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyether polyol that has an excellent versatility without the need of using an amine catalyst of high foaming activity, and that can produce soft polyurethane slab foam having a high ventilation characteristic and having a small density distribution within a foam block.SOLUTION: Provided is a polyether polyol (a) that is obtained by adding, to an active hydrogen-containing compound (c), 1,2-alkylene oxide (d) having 3 or more carbon atoms by 0.1 to 2.0 moles on an average per one active hydrogen, in the presence of a Lewis acid catalyst (b), and that has a proportion of primary hydroxyl in the total terminal hydroxyl of 10 mol% or more and less than 40 mol%. |
