The present invention also provides a rechargeable battery control system which enables a plurality of accumulator elements to be used efficiently, and a rechargeable battery leasing system which is easy to use and which is highly convenient. In the same plane as that of the outer case (11) that constitutes the battery case (10), a plurality of accumulator elements are arranged in a row in an insulated state with a predetermined interval (L1) therebetween, and positive and negative external terminals (6Aa to 6Bb) are respectively connected to the corresponding accumulator elements. As a configuration for detecting abnormalities in each of the accumulators by means of a control unit (21) which is connected via each of the external terminals and a voltage detection line (22), a control system is constituted which electrically isolates the connecting part (24) of the accumulator elements in which abnormalities are detected, and a leasing system is configured by connecting to the Internet network (28) via a communication unit (27), thereby enabling the communication of error information.
