PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for forming an active material layer capable of enhancing performance of a battery, and to provide a method for forming the same.SOLUTION: The device for forming the active material layer comprises: a mold member 20 having a plurality of recess parts 22 on its surface; a feeding mechanism 30 for feeding an active material substance into at least the plurality of the recess parts 22 in the mold member 20; a support plate 41 for supporting a collector 2; a pressing mechanism 40 for pressing the collector 2 toward the active material substance fed into the mold member 20; and a heater that is built into the mold member 20 so as to heat the active material substance pressed by the pressing mechanism 40. |
