PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten galvanizing material such that even a thin coating has satisfactory coating surface appearance and waving of the surface is small and a method of manufacturing the same, and a metal component using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a metal strip that includes: dipping the metal strip in a molten metal bath which includes 2-8 wt.% of aluminum, 0-5 wt.% of magnesium, a 0.3 wt.% or less of an alloy element, and zinc and inevitable impurities for the rest and is held at a temperature of 350-700°C; carrying out nozzle wiping; and cooling a coating by a controlled method until the coating is completely solidified, the cooling being performed at a speed of less than 15°C/s between the temperature when the metal strip exits from a wiping unit and the start of solidification of the coating, and at a speed of 15°C/s or larger between the start and end of the solidification of the coating. |
