<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection material capable of easily measuring, at a measurement site, etc., a metal ion such as environmental pollutant in a soil, without using strongly acidic solution or a photometer, and also to specifically provide a detection material for evaluating a heavy metal such as hexavalent chromium.SOLUTION: A detection material evaluates presence of a metal ion, and specifically, environmental pollutant. In the detection material, a base material carries a color developer and an acidification substance that is set to an acidic condition when making contact with aqueous solution. Specifically, the detection material detects hexavalent chromium by using diphenylcarbazide as the color developer. Inorganic acid is preferably used as the acidification substance.</p> |
