<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire enabling an improvement in the visibility of an indication mark on a sidewall part. <P>SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire includes the indication mark 1 on the surface of the sidewall part. The indication mark 1 includes first recessed parts 21 which form the profile of a predetermined letter, figure, or symbol and are recessed from the profile surface of the sidewall part, first ridge parts 22 formed inside the first recessed parts 21, second recessed parts 31 which are disposed along the profile of the first recessed parts 21 and are recessed from the profile surface of the sidewall part, and second ridge parts 32 formed inside the second recessed parts 31.
