The encoder contour (5) features at least one area (7) provided for calculating the position of the component (2) in an axial direction (y), whereas a surface (11) of the first range (7) in an axial direction (y) is designed with a varying radial extension in respect of the central axis (14). The encoder contour (5) features several second areas (8) for calculating the rotational speed of the component (2), whereas a slope of a radial extension of a surface (20) of the second areas (8) in the axial direction (y) of the component (2) is differentiated from a slope of a radial extension of the surface (11) of the first areas (7) in the axial direction (y) of the component (2). In the circumferential direction (n) of the component (2), the encoder contour is designed alternately with first areas (7) and second areas (8).
