A compress overload-protection control method, comprising: checking the status of a compressor (S101); determining whether the compressor is under overload protection (S102); if the compressor is under overload protection, blocking the fluorine-insufficiency protection (S103). A compressor overload-protection control device, comprising: a checking unit (10) for checking the status of a compressor; a determination unit (20) for determining whether the compressor is under overload protection; a blocking unit (30) for blocking the fluorine-insufficiency protection when the compressor is under overload protection. The present method and device solve the problem in the prior art that fluorine-insufficiency false alarms are easily triggered, thereby preventing the fluorine-insufficiency false alarms when a compressor is under overload protection.
