Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a subtitle display method and subtitle display device relating to the technical field of communications. Category contents are presented to a user in an interactive graphic way to enable the user to select the corresponding category contents according to his own preference, and in this way subtitles corresponding to the category contents are displayed; the method comprises: receiving a subtitle file, parsing a category label of the subtitle file, the category label comprising category contents; presenting the category contents on display device in an interactive graphic way in order to be selected by a user; accepting a selection result of the user for one or more of the category contents, and displaying subtitles corresponding to the selected category contents according to the selection result. The subtitle display method is used for classifying and displaying subtitles. |
