The brick used in construction sector is a light construction material with insulation properties and it is produced by being expanded from clay and pyroclastic rocks. Gas releasing chemicals are used in order to expand the clay and pyroclastic raw materials in each combination. The specific bulk density of the product expanded with chemicals is in range of 200-1300 kg/m3 even in 100% fullness ratio, and its heat transmission coefficient decreases up to λ=0,07 W/mK. It gains properties specific to ceramic when it is sintered between 600-1500 °C. The novel product which is obtained has excellent properties against stretching and outer factors, generally it has homogenous gaps, it can be used as carrier or constructive purpose light wall blocks, panels, horizontal and vertical coatings, and insulation material for heat and noise in construction sector. |
