The purpose of the present invention is to provide a livestock feed having as the raw ingredient sweet potato, which can improve the meat quality of livestock by a simple method. A further purpose of the present invention is to provide a reduced-cost livestock or poultry feed with sweet potato as the raw ingredient. This livestock feed contains sweet potato heat-treated under reduced pressure at a temperature of 60-110°C until the water content is 8 wt% or less.
