PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the life of a blade for cutting.SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a membrane electrode assembly for cutting the membrane electrode assembly including a gas diffusion layer so that a cut surface is formed along the lamination direction, an upper die 140 having an inside surface 142S parallel with the cut surface is disposed so that the inside surface 142S is located on one side of a plane position including the cut surface, and a lower die 130 having an outside surface 132S parallel with the cut surface is disposed so that the outside surface 132S is located on the other side of a plane position including the cut surface. The cut surface is formed by shearing, by moving the upper die 140 relatively to the lower die 130 in the lamination direction. |
