PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for presenting clearly understandable links between fixed buttons and associated images displayed on a display to eliminate limits on location of the display.SOLUTION: A control display assembly comprises; a display (14) configured to present images indicative of vehicle functions; at least one button (16) disposed at a distance from the display; and a light path (18) extending between the at least one button and the display, where the light path is configured to be activated when the button is activated.
