PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information acquisition device capable of accurately acquiring information of an analyte without using a variation of phase.SOLUTION: An information acquisition device 100 acquires information of an analyte 111 disposed between a reflecting member 112 having a reflecting surface 204 reflecting a terahertz wave 210 and a tabular member 110 by irradiating the analyte with the terahertz wave via the tabular member and includes: an irradiation unit 117 which irradiates the analyte with the terahertz wave 210; a detection unit 102 which detects a terahertz wave 215 from the analyte; and an information acquisition unit 107 which acquires information of the analyte by using at least a time waveform of a terahertz wave reflected by the interface between the tabular member and the analyte and a time waveform of a terahertz wave reflected by the interface between the analyte and the reflecting surface of the reflecting member, out of time waveforms acquired from the detection result of the detection unit. |
