<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an encryption automatic setting method for a network for shortening setting time in automatically setting encryption by using Layer 3. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic setting method for encryption setting in a network has a step of establishing a communication path for encryption setting by an automatic setting procedure using Layer 3 between a setting terminal D1 and a set terminal D2 which are communication apparatuses configuring a home network. The setting terminal D1 allocates an IP address that allows connection to an external network after the encryption setting to the set terminal D2, and the set terminal D2 applies setting information obtained from the setting terminal D1 to a wireless LAN interface and uses the IP address also in starting encrypted communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
