The invention relates to a method for converting content from a single planar page via a display to being stereoscopically perceivable in three dimensions, using 3D technologies and the real-time adjustment thereof. The method includes the steps involving: a) having a 2D image file or original page containing objects represented in the original plane of said page; b) identifying a point for referencing each object to be shown in 3D; c) creating a second page comprising all the objects from the original page; d) selecting, in the second page, at least one object and a depth variable; e) selecting a value of said variable and converting the selected object such as to create a modified view of the second page; f) displaying the initial page and modified view of the second page such as to display said pages stereoscopically and assess the effect produced by said conversion; and g) repeating Steps d), e), and f) until a satisfactory conversion is obtained.
