<p>A washing machine (1) includes a laundry tub in which water is stored, a water temperature sensor (24) which detects the temperature of water within the laundry tub, a hot water heater (9) which heats the water within the laundry tub, a display unit (4) on which predetermined information is displayed, and a microcomputer (51). The microcomputer (51) receives a selection of a reheating temperature to be added to the temperature of the water within the laundry tub before starting of washing. The microcomputer (51), upon receiving the selection of the reheating temperature, heats the water within the laundry tub until the water temperature at the current point in time detected by the water temperature sensor (24) rises by the reheating temperature, and displays the remaining amount of time required for the washing to complete on the display unit (4).</p> |
