<p>A mobile X-ray imaging apparatus includes: a movable main body; a sterilizer which sterilizes a detector by being mounted on the main body; and a control unit which controls the sterilizer. The sterilizer includes: an accommodation unit which enables the detector to enter and be accommodated by arranging an internal space having an open side; a door which is opened and closed by being mounted on the open side of the accommodation unit; and a sterilization lamp which radiates sterilizing light to the accommodation unit by generating the sterilizing light. The mobile X-ray imaging apparatus like the aforementioned and a controlling method thereof reduce a propagation probability of pathogenic microorganisms or infection in a hospital since the sterilization of an X-ray detector is possible during a movement of the X-ray imaging apparatus and also reduce a work flow since the sterilizing work of the X-ray detector can be skipped in a separate device.</p> |
