<p>The invention relates to a device for securing elongated objects, more particularly surfboards, skis or snowboards, in rail vehicles, wherein a vertical retainer section (1, 10) is provided, which is connected to the carriage body (21) of the rail vehicle (20), on which holder section a retaining element (2, 11) is arranged, which is interdependent with the retainer section (1, 10) for securing the elongated objects.
