PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment system for handling and delivering outflow water in a normal low flow rate sate and in a periodical high flow rate state caused by a storm or the like.SOLUTION: A water treatment system 100 includes an inlet 102 for receiving a fluid flow, a treatment chamber 108, a first outlet 104, and a second outlet 106. The treatment chamber 108 includes a treatment chamber inlet that fluid-communicates with the inlet 102, and a treatment chamber outlet that fluid-communicates with the first outlet 104. The treatment chamber 108 removes contaminants from the fluid flow. The second outlet 106 is separated from the inlet 102 by a weir that prevents fluid from moving into the second outlet 106 when the fluid is below a predetermined height, and allows at least a part of the fluid to move into the second outlet 106 without passing through the treatment chamber 108 when the fluid is above the predetermined height. |
