<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic keyboard instrument which reduces variations and changes in output values of stroke sensors resulting from characteristic variations between individual stroke sensors and characteristic changes thereof or the like. <P>SOLUTION: One or a plurality of switches 21 detect that a stroke position of a key is at one or a plurality of prescribed positions. A sensor output-extracting part 26 extracts an output value of a stroke sensor 24 when the stroke position is at one or the plurality of prescribed positions. A correction characteristic-deciding part 28 obtains a reference output value when the stroke position is at one or the plurality of prescribed positions, and regards the characteristic for interpolating a difference value between an output value of a stroke sensor used as reference and the output value of the stroke sensor 24 based on a reference difference value between the extracted output value and the reference output value as a correction characteristic.
