<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component capable of dividing the current path of eddy current in a magnetic sheet while avoiding complication of the production process. <P>SOLUTION: In the coil component comprising a coil, and a magnetic sheet opposed in the winding axial direction of the coil, the magnetic sheet is provided with a first slit in the principal surface thereof. When viewed from the winding axial direction of the coil, the first slit overlaps the coil only in one place.
