PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sandwich structure which is composed of a thermoplastic resin and carbon fiber, is light and high in rigidity allows easy post-processing, production method of the sandwich structure and a structure formed by processing the sandwich structure.SOLUTION: A sandwich structure includes a core material composed of a foamed resin and a surface material provided on both sides of the core material, and the surface material is composed of a composite material comprising a thermoplastic resin and carbon fiber. An irregular structure formed by impregnating the core material with the composite material is formed on the surface on the core material side of the surface material.
