[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of developing: a novel shock-absorbing structure configured so as to be able, when incorporated, for example, in the soles of shoes, etc. to absorb impact in a stepwise manner and yet also to be able to transfer resiliency smoothly to the wearer's toe-off action; and shoes implementing same. [Solution] This shock-absorbing structure is characterized in being configured so as to exhibit a multi-stage shock-absorbing ability by: being provided with studs, elastic rings fitted thereon, and upper and lower pressure-receiving parts that are connected by the studs; the studs being capable of deforming and being restored at least in the pressure-accepting direction; the effective action height of the rings being set to be lower than the studs; the rings being formed so as not to be glued to the upper and lower pressure-receiving parts; and when pressed, the studs first undergoing compression and deformation in the pressure-accepting direction, after which the rings undergo compression and deformation in the pressure-accepting direction. |
