The invention relates to a method for reducing the waste-water volume of a flue-gas desulfurization system. Because of the vast waste-water amounts, correspondingly dimensioned purification systems are necessary, wherein the construction and the operation of said systems are very costly because of the large water-water amounts. According to the invention, this problem is solved by a method for reducing the waste-water volume of a flue-gas desulfurization system, wherein a) a waste-water volume of the flue-gas desulfurization system (1) having a certain sulfate concentration, mercury concentration, and selenium concentration is provided, b) the waste-water volume (AV) is conducted by means of a high-pressure pump (P1) into a high-pressure separating device (1), in which the waste-water volume (AV) is separated into a permeate volume (PV) having reduced sulfate concentration, mercury concentration, and selenium concentration and a concentrate volume (KV), c) the concentrate volume (KV) is fed to a purification device (4), in which the mercury concentration and selenium concentration of the concentrate volume is reduced. |
