The invention relates to a method for production of sulfur polymer produced by modification of waste sulfur occurring in liquid solvent 2-ethylhexyl alcohol, in which liquid modifier 2-ethyl-3-propylacrolein was dissolved beforehand, wherein modification of the following composition is conducted in a mixer: 45-55% by weight of 2-ethylhexyl alcohol solvent, 10-15% by weight of 2-ethyl-3-propylacrolein modifier, 35-40% by weight of waste sulfur, wherein the components of the composition are mixed together and heated to the temperature of 120-135°C in 10-15 minutes, wherein the waste sulfur is desulfurization waste mainly of natural gas, comprising 99.9% by weight of sulfur. The invention also relates to granulated polymer-asphalt binder and sulfur concrete for road surfacing, comprising said sulfur polymer. Besides, the invention relates to a concrete road surface produced based on said binder or sulfur concrete and also relates to concrete road repairs using said polymer-asphalt binder. |
