SILICONE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR OPTICAL SEMICONDUCTOR AND CURED PRODUCT THEREOF

A silicone resin composition for an optical semiconductor contains surface-modified zirconia particles, dispersion aid and silicone resin, wherein the surface-modified zirconia particles are in a dispersion state, the dispersion particle diameter of the surface-modified zirconia particles is equal to or greater than 1 nm and equal to or smaller than 50 nm, and at least one among ketones and alcohols is included as the dispersion aid. As for the silicone resin composition for an optical semiconductor and a cured product thereof, the refractive index of the cured product is made excellent by making the content of zirconia particles relatively high and making the amount of a surface modifying agent relatively low.
