<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor which is capable of executing encoding processing at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: The processor includes: an arithmetic logic unit; an encoding unit comprising an XOR circuit and an AND circuit; a command decoding section which controls the arithmetic logic unit to execute arithmetic processing in accordance with a decoding result of a first command and controls the encoding unit to execute recursive convolutional encoding processing in accordance with a decoding result of a second command different from the first command; and a register for storing operands of the arithmetic processing to be executed by the arithmetic logic unit and storing data and parameters for use in the encoding processing to be executed by the encoding unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
