A method for tracing a ray for rendering an image includes the steps of: performing an intersection test based on generated search results on an acceleration structure of first rays; generating second rays corresponding to at least one type based on the search results of the intersection test; storing identification information providing a start point and the direction of the second rays by sorting the second rays by types; and performing an intersection test and shading by using the stored identification information. |
