Device for the thermal treatment of products with cleaning of the process fluid

The device has supply and discharge conveyors for containers, and a treatment zone for spraying the containers with a process liquid (17) i.e. water. A circulation circuit partially reuses the process liquid, and has a pump (5). A separation unit (1) has parallel lamellae (25) for cleaning the process liquid from particles (32) e.g. broken glass and/or sand, and the pump pumps the process liquid along the lamellae. The lamellae are arranged under an angle (alpha) perpendicular to horizontals. An exchangeable screen box (31) is formed at a base of the unit for collecting the particles.
