A valve controlling the filling of a container on a balance is closed on the weight of the container and contents reaching a predetermined value by a closed-loop hydraulic servomotor having a piston 9 controlled by a valve 11 actuated through lever 31 and counterbalanced follow-up lever 27 pivoted on the piston at 28 when lever 27 is lifted at 26 by contact with adjustable abutment 24 con nected by a lever system to the balance arm. Lost motion between 24 and 26 ensures that the servomotor is only operated when the container is nearly filled to the required weight after which the servomotor produces an amplified output movement from an input movement proportional to the difference between the instantaneous and the required weight on the balance |
