There is provided a shutter system in a switchgear assembly comprising a cable compartment configured to accommodate cables; a circuit breaker compartment configured to accommodate a circuit breaker; and a busbar compartment configured to accommodate a plurality of poles, wherein the shutter system comprises: a set of shutter plates (71, 72, 73, 74) configured to divide the circuit breaker compartment into a test position in which the circuit breaker is disconnected with extended portions of both the poles and the cables and a service position in which the circuit breaker is connectable with the extended portions of both the poles and the cables. Various embodiments of the present invention may improve and guarantee the safety of operators.
