Control and monitoring system

Control and monitoring system has a control unit (C1) and a monitoring unit (RMU, WMU) for determining if the system is operating correctly. If the monitoring unit determines that the system is not operating correctly, the control unit is stopped and then restarted so that it carries out the same action that caused the error condition, or the action that was being carried out when the error occurred. An Independent claim is made for a method for operating a system that has an electrical control unit and monitoring units for determining if the system is operating correctly.
