OsGASD gene involved in gibellelin mechanism in plant and uses thereof

The present invention relates to an Oryza sativa gibberellic acid sensitive dwarf (OsGASD) gene involved in the gibberellin mechanism of a plant and to uses thereof. The gene that codes rice-derived OsGASD proteins involved in the gibberellin mechanism boosts the growth of a plant and increases the content of the gibberellin in the plant, thus fostering growth of the plant by controlling the expression of OsGASD gene and increasing the content of gibberellin in the plant. Accordingly, the gene can be used to develop plants with enhanced productivity.
