[Also in Division A1] Apparatus for supplying feed to a number of livestock feeding stations comprises a conveyer 12 supplied with feed from a storage bin and having openings in its base through which the feed falls into weighing units 16 each comprising a tube 42 supported by links 43 from a balancing mechanism 50. A door 46 pivotally mounted on the conveyer frame is connected to the tube 42 and pivots to close the opening when the tube 42 moves downwardly under a predetermined weight of food. The amount of food is varied by moving a weight 90 along calibrated balance arm 51, an auxiliary weight 92 and adjusting screw 93 also being provided. Means are provided for returning the balancing means to their original position after the food is discharged from the tubes.
