The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for processing a document conforming to a docbase standard. The method includes: obtaining contents of a document conforming to a docbase standard via a docbase standard interface; generating an interim document based on the contents of the document; and providing the interim document for a third-party software for displaying; wherein the interim document is in a format supported by the third-party software.
