The present invention relates to a method for reducing the odor of the epicarp of ginko nuts (Ginkgo biloba) including a step of storing the ginko nuts into an illite-containing film. According to the present invention, the method can reduce the content of the butyric acid which is the main cause of the odor from the epicarp of ginko nuts to reduce the odor. |
