<p>The telescopic column (100) has a lower frame (120), an upper frame (140) comprising a fastening unit for a flat panel display (200) and a column tube (160) which is longitudinally displaceably guided within the lower frame and the upper frame. A linear drive (M1) is fastened between the lower frame and the column tube and is adapted to vertically move the column tube relative to lower frame. Another linear drive (M2) is fastened between the upper frame and the column tube and is adapted to vertically move the upper frame relative to column tube.
